This is a very well made solid brass letterbox. As it is unlaquered it most closely resembles the 100 year-old one I replaced. It should keep its shine with an occasional application of Brasso hopefully.
Bought various door accessories recently from this company. All have been great quality and good price, this letter plate is the same, looks great on.
